Thistle & Rose is a collaborative effort of great friends with a common love of music and entertaining.  All
music and/or theatrical friends who found a niche in Cannon Beach every Wednesday evening at The Bistro and every second and fourth Friday at Seasons Deli. 

Offering a mix of soft folk ballad, contemporary Americana, 60's-to-80's pop rock, and some hot-lick blues, they invite some toe-tapping and sing-along
opportunities for the adventuresome.  Bobby and Paul also infuse their sets with original tunes of life and scenes in Cannon Beach.  This is truly a favorite "local" band having performed throughout NW Oregon for over
10 years.

Wes Wahrmund

Classical Guitar

Wes can be found on most Friday and Saturday evenings at The Bistro performing original compositions and improvisations, both rhythmic and impressionistic. He will draw on a variety of influences, including jazz, classical and world music.


Wes has released three critically acclaimed albums.  "Ituri," "Speak Unity" and "Swallowtail" provide a sampling of the rich musical traditions he has
brought to the North Coast.

Adams and Costello

Indie Rock

From their first meeting at a concert in Boston's Orpheum Theatre 17 years
ago, Julie Adams and Michael Costello found a romance and a collaboration of
a common love for Blues and songwriting that has propelled Julie and Mike to
front stage persona with a blend of their original tunes and covers.  Their
acoustic-electric presentation of insightful and driven original tunes are
blended with covers of personal favorite tunes.
